The store hired ten deaf baristas, but it caters to customers of all hearing abilities. Deaf customers can use sign language to order drinks of their choice and those who don’t know sign language can use a menu card to write their order.
We're really excited about this new Starbucks and we hope that it inspires an international trend. With jobs hard to come by, it's great when a major corporation can do something to make it even a little easier for people to find gainful employment.
