Here's everything for these succulent harissa and yogurt chicken breasts. This recipe requires 45 minutes total time and makes four servings.
Let's Get Started…
Ingredients To Gather:
- 2 tablespoon harissa paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 dried chili
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 bunch of mint
- 1/4 cup water
Directions To Follow:
- Start by placing sprigs of fresh mint under the skin of each chicken breast, then place each piece in a deep dish that's rectangular in shape.
- Now, take the rest of the ingredients and combine them using a blender or a food processor to make a marinade, and then spread evenly over the entire chicken including the skin and the undersides.
- Next, place the chicken directly over the grills so that it sears well, and then grill it for 4 minutes on each side.
- After this, remove the chicken from the coals and then cook over indirect heat with the lid on for between 20 and 25 minutes.
- When the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, it's ready to serve.
Finished!
This is definitely an inventive and tasty way to prepare chicken breasts. We really like them with a vegetable side dish such as green beans and maybe some hearty mashed potatoes.
Enjoy!
