Tired Of Dry Over Cooked Chicken? This Harissa & Yogurt Marinade Really Takes Things Up A Notch

Here's everything for these succulent harissa and yogurt chicken breasts. This recipe requires 45 minutes total time and makes four servings.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 tablespoon harissa paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 dried chili
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by placing sprigs of fresh mint under the skin of each chicken breast, then place each piece in a deep dish that's rectangular in shape.
  2. Now, take the rest of the ingredients and combine them using a blender or a food processor to make a marinade, and then spread evenly over the entire chicken including the skin and the undersides.
  3. Next, place the chicken directly over the grills so that it sears well, and then grill it for 4 minutes on each side.
  4. After this, remove the chicken from the coals and then cook over indirect heat with the lid on for between 20 and 25 minutes.
  5. When the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, it's ready to serve.

Finished!

This is definitely an inventive and tasty way to prepare chicken breasts. We really like them with a vegetable side dish such as green beans and maybe some hearty mashed potatoes.

Enjoy!
