Pretzels are one of our favorite snacks, both the hard, crunchy kind we buy in bags at the supermarket, and the soft, chewy and delicious ones we make ourselves, especially when paired with a rich and creamy cheese dip! As much as we adore the traditional version of this tasty snack, we'll probably never have them plain after tasting this beer version. That's right, pretzels actually made with beer, which is a key ingredients in both the pretzels themselves and the yummy cheese dip.
The beer really adds an edge to both the pretzels and the dip, and the dip is no ordinary cheese dip. It combines several soft, savory cheeses, along with cream cheeses and plenty of seasonings and spices including onion, paprika, caraway seeds, chives, and of course salt and pepper. Simply amazing!
