This fantastic smothered chicken casserole makes enough for four servings but you can double the ingredients if you want plenty left over to enjoy again for another meal. This recipe uses chicken thighs but you can use any kind of chicken you want. You can also use another kind of pasta if you wish to really adapt it to your tastes. It takes about thirty minutes to prepare and another thirty to thirty-five minutes to bake but it sure to make your mouth water before you even get to try it!

The Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 chicken thighs
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 6 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 ¼ cups half-and-half
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 cups frozen broccoli florets
- 3 slices precooked bacon
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper. Cook 8- 10 minutes, turning once.
2 Cook pasta as directed on package. Mix soup, half-and-half, paprika; reserve 3/4 cup sauce.
The Additional Directions To Follow:
Add the pasta and broccoli. Put pasta in casserole dish and place the chicken thighs over the top. Pour sauce onto the chicken. Add bacon. Cover the dish and allow to bake about 20 minutes then remove the lid and allow to , bake for another 10 – 15 minutes until the sauce starts to bubble.

Half and Half can be found in the dairy dept. of most all food stores. Comes in a milk carton container. It used to be used just as a creamer, like in coffee.
