The Ingredients To Gather:
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. water
1 c. flour
1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
1 tbsp. powdered milk
1 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
kosher salt
black pepper
2 c. peanut oil, for frying
2 hicken breasts
Pickles, for serving
Butter, for bread
2 Hamburger buns
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
Whisk egg, milk, ½ teaspoon paprika, water together. In another dish, whisk both flours,milk, sugar, baking soda, dry mustard, and remaining ½ teaspoon paprika, season with salt, pepper. Heat about two inches of peanut oil to 325 degrees F in pot or skillet.
The Additional Directions To Follow:
Slice up your pickle and set it to the side for later. Place your chicken in egg mixture, making sure it gets well coated. ,Then coat the chicken with your flour mixture. Allow the chicken to fry for about three to four minutes. Allow chicken to drain after frying.
Heat your skillet over medium heat. Put butter on each bun half and then get it , lightly toasted in your skillet,placing it with the butter side down. Add additional butter after toasting., Place each of your pickle slices in some pickle juice to make them nice and moist. Add pickles to your bottom hamburger bun. Add your chicken and cover with top half of bun.
