Ingredients To Gather:
- 4 Pounds chicken thighs, cut into quarters
- 4 Red peppers, sliced
- 2 Yellow peppers, sliced
- 2 Onions, sliced
- 56 Ounces plum tomatoes, canned, drained
- 6 Teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 Teaspoon fennel, crushed
- 6 Strips orange peel
- 1 Cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Pasta
The Directions To Follow:
Put all the ingredients in a slow cooker except the basil leaves. Mix together thoroughly. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Before adding the pasta sprinkle with basil leaves.
Finished!
Now you are ready to eat. You can make some bread sticks or garlic bread to complete the meal with a side salad. I like to add corn as a side to make the flavor of the pasta pop! Now just grab the plates and eat up!
