Whole Pineapple Stuffed With Pork & Then Wrapped In Bacon: Wow… Was This Good!

Whole Pineapple Stuffed With Pork & Then Wrapped In Bacon: Wow… Was This Good!

Here's everything you need for this sweet and succulent dish. You can use any size pineapple, but we prefer extra large ones because that means more room for even more flavorful ribs inside them!

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 Large Pineapple (Larger the better)
  • 12 Rashers good quality bacon
  • 5/6 Boneless Pork Ribs
  • 1 Bottle Historic Lynchburg Tennessee Whiskey Swineapple Rib Glaze & Dippin' Sauce

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by heating your oven to 180 degrees. You can also use a BBQ smoker.
  2. Next, peel the pineapple and then cut off one end of it and set aside.
  3. Cut out the center of the pineapple so that there's an outer edge of about 1 inch thick.
  4. Pack as much of the boneless pork ribs into the pineapple as you can, and then replace the end of the pineapple. Wrap the bacon around the outside of the pineapple, keeping it in place with cocktail sticks.
  5. Cover it with a generous amoutn of Historic Lynchburg Tennessee Whiskey Swineapple Rib Glaze & Dippin' Sauce and then cook for between 4 1/2 and 5 hours.

Finished!

We'd never experienced anything quite like this recipe before, but boy are we glad we took a chance! It's just loaded with flavor and is guaranteed to hit the spot! If you're a meat lover, you'll adore the fact that you get both ribs and bacon.
