You Better Be Careful…These Chicken Meatballs With A Firecracker Sauce Will Knock Your Socks Off!

These firecracker chicken meat balls sure know how to pack a punch with that incredible dipping sauce! These snacks should definitely be at your next social function.

Let's Get Started…

Things You Will Need:

Meatballs:

  • 1 3/4 – 2 pounds ground chicken (or turkey)

  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

The Fire Cracker Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (I recommend Franks)

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (depending on spice preference)

How To Prepare:

  1. Preheat your oven to 475 degrees and get your cookie sheets ready by lining them with parchment paper.
  2. Make your firecracker sauce by combining all of the space ingredients into a saucepan on the stove top. Your going to bring all of the ingredients to a boil and then reduce heat and let simmer for about eight minutes. Then remove from heat and allow time to cool.
  3. Next, make your meatballs. Mix all of your meatball ingredients together and then shape balls. Then place on your cookie sheet and pop them into the oven and let cook for about thirteen minutes.
  4. Remove meatballs from the oven and brush sauce over each ball. Place back into the oven for about two minutes, just to finish them off. Then remove from oven and enjoy! Can dunk meatballs into sauce as you eat.

Finished!

Note: This recipe makes about eight servings, which is the perfect amount for a casual gathering. Hosting a larger celebration? Just double the recipe so you know you have enough for everyone.

Enjoy!
