So you're in a rut about what to make for breakfast? This is a quick and simple idea that actually tastes good, but is crazy fast to make.
Let's Get Started…
The Ingredients To Gather:
- Dried Beef (about half a jar or 2.5 oz)
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour (or up to 3 for extra thick gravy)
- Black Pepper
- Bread (To make toast) (two pieces per person)
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- In a jar, put the 2 cups mild and 2/3 tablespoons of flour. Put the lid on the jar and shake it until the flour and milk are combined well.
- Cut the beef into squares or strips
- In a pot, over med/high heat melt the butter. Add the beef and stir, allowing it to saute gently for a minute in the butter.
- Pour all the mixture into pot
- Occasionally stir as it come up to heat. Bring to a boil, and it will begin to thicken. Turn the heat down to med/low and simmer for approx 5-7 minutes, and stir as needed. Add pepper to taste.
- After simmering, take the creamed beef off heat and let rest for approx. 5-10 minutes.
- While sauce is resting make the toast.
- Put your toast on a plate and spoon the creamed beef over them.
Finished!
And there you have it! A simple and easy meal that don't take forever in the kitchen over a hot stove. Just don't forget the coffee and juice!

I used to make creamed eggs on toast to my kids, little leary at first, but after trying, was a huge hit!! Same principle but hard boiled eggs instead of chipped beef
