Cook it on a square griddle, on medium heat, cover with a sheet of aluminum foil, easy.
Or you could turn the heat down.
Awesome
And it makes a mess in your oven. I would rather clean up the grease on top of the stove instead of cleaning the oven weekly. Everyone says the oven method is wonderful, but nobody says what a mess it makes in the oven.
Oven works good at 350 degrees
I always cook bacon in the oven.
I do too, Lillian, and I’ve never had any splatter in the oven. I use a slotted broiler pan so the grease drains from the bacon.
I wear an old T-shirt.
Lower the heat and cover it with foil. Also you can place a smaller cookie sheet in a larger one to catch grease.
Grease-less, healthy vegan bacon is on the market now. It’s delicious 🙂
Been using this method for years, just line cookie sheet with foil, in oven at 420 for 15-25 mins, depending how crispy you like your bacon. It does not splatter , pull bacon let grease solidify roll up foil in the trash, no mess no fuss.
microwave
Duh! It won’t work for me.It just smoked up my oven really bad.I have a gas oven.
cook in mic takes out the oil put papper towels one on bottom one on top cook for seven min the best good luck try it ya going to like it
I tried putting water in skillet — worked out pretty good —but at the end you had to really watch it —there was some splatter when water dried up.
Use the micro with paper towels. Easier, faster and no mess.
Just wear an apron….I’m NOT old but use one on occasion
I think I like it better made in the oven.
We always microwave bacon. No mess and the bacon is crispy and good, just flatter.
Always do it in the oven if I have a large amount to cook. Comes out great!
I line my cookie sheet with double duty aluminum foil. Bake the bacon in the oven, and when your done, I throw away the aluminum foil.
I have never noticed the mess (foil over top) and have done it many times for big family gathering at breakfast.
Also stack in microwave in egg cartons, covered.
I always cook it in the oven
I have been baking bacon for the last couple of years. Will never make it any other way. No mess in my oven! Much better method than pay frying and having to clean the pan.
Parchment Paper works too.
I am going to try this the next time I make bacon.
I’ve been baking bacon forever. It doesn’t sizzle & spit like it does on top of the stove.
love doing it, it bakes flat and even!

If u place the bacon on a rack, add some water to the baking sheet. No splatter at all. Learned that a long time ago. I also use this method when I broil. About 1/2 glass should do it.
I place a cooling rack on top of the aluminum foil so the bacon doesn’t baste in the grease.
