One of our favorite ingredients is walnuts because they have a rich, buttery flavor that really enhances any type of baked good. If you're looking for good old-fashioned comfort food that makes you feel all warm and cozy, then we really cannot recommend baking with walnuts highly enough! In fact, we like them so much that we're always looking for recipes that allow us to use walnuts, and this amazing walnut chocolate chip loaf cake has got to be one of our favorites.
Not only does this scrumptious loaf cake have walnuts, it also has walnut flour for double the amazing taste! And of course, there's a generous helping of rich and decadent chocolate chips. Yum! There's also buttermilk to make it even richer and creamier, as well as add some savoriness. Top it all of with some coarse sugar on top of the loaf, and you have one enticing dessert!
