Ditch The Salt & Add This Spicy Little Kick To That Batch Of Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Instead

Here's everything for these savory, spicy garlic bacon pumpkin seeds. To add even more spice, use grease from jalapeno- or Cajun-flavored bacon.

This Is What You Need…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • Pumpkin Seeds from 1 Medium Pumpkin
  • 1 Tbsp Bacon Olive Oil or Bacon Grease
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Boss Hog Bacon Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions To Follow:

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees, and then combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl. For a little extra spice, add 1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper. Next, combine the pumpkin seeds with the bacon olive oil in a bowl and mix until the seeds are thoroughly coated. If using stored bacon grease, warm it up in the microwave first. Now, slowly pour in the dry mixture to coat the oiled seeds thoroughly. Arrange the coated seeds evenly on a greased cookie sheet, unless using bacon grease, which eliminates the need to use the pan. Bake for between 25 and 30 minutes, checking the seeds every 10 minutes to see if they're done.

Done!

These bacon garlic pumpkin seeds make a great snack or appetizer, and we just can't get enough of them. They really make us feel all warm and cozy, as well as a bit festive.

Delicious!
