Have You Tried These Lightly Breaded & Baked Pork Chops Yet?

Here's everything you need for these hearty baked pork chops. This recipe calls for Saltine crackers, but you can also use Ritz crackers for a nice buttery flavor.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 3 boneless pork chops
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup finely crushed Saltine crackers
  • 3 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Directions To Follow:

Rinse pork chops and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside. Whisk together egg and milk in a shallow container. Combine cracker crumbs, cheese, salt, and pepper in another shallow container. Dip pork chops into egg mixture, then crumbs. Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium high heat.  Brown each side of the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes, then place in a baking dish.

Next, bake the pork chops at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted inside reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit. If you prefer your pork chops extra crispy, just broil for 2 minutes on each side.

Finished!

These savory pork chops go well with a wide variety of side dishes, but we especially like them with some rich and creamy mashed potatoes and a tasty vegetable such as green beans.

Happy Baking & Enjoy!

My mom always made ours with saltine crackers and it was delicious. Same directions as recipe above but no cheese.
