If You Like Reuben Sandwiches, Then You Are Going To Obsess Over This Casserole

See what happens when you turn one of your favorite sandwiches into a casserole. If you love Reuben sandwiches and mashed potatoes, then you are going to be obsessed with this recipe.

Let's Get Started…

Things You Will Need:

  • 4 cups water

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/3 cup butter

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • garlic mashed potatoes

  • sliced corned beef, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

  • 1 can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained

  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese

  • 4 teaspoons caraway seed

  • thousand island dressing

How To Prepare:

  1. Start off by getting your oven ready and preheating it to 350 degrees. Grab a baking dish out of the cupboard and give it a spray down with some non-stick spray. You can use Pam or I like to use those coconut oil sprays.
  2. Make garlic mashed potatoes to standard, but incorporate some mustard into the recipe.
  3. Spread out your mashed potato mix into your baking sheet and then layer with corned beef, sauerkraut, and caraway seeds. Then repeat. Top off with cheese and seeds.
  4. Pop your dish in the oven and let it cook for about twenty minutes, until the top has a beautiful golden brown.

Finished!

Note: We suggest serving this delicious Reuben casserole with a light salad on the side to balance out the richness in your meal. You can always keep it simple and just grab a salad bag from the grocery store.

Enjoy!
