Want A Better Roast? The Secret Is In The Seasoning!

You can serve this dish with vegetables such as sautéed asparagus or maybe even some braised brussels sprouts. The flavor cannot be beat with this recipe; it's absolutely amazing!

Ingredients To Gather 

  • 1 Tbsp dried crushed red peppers

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 2 Tbsp Kosher salt (NOT sea salt or table salt)

  • 1 tsp ground white pepper

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar

Step By Step Directions To Follow 

  1. Preheat oven at 500°F

  2. Mix ingredients together to form a rub and smear it all over the roast

  3. Roast the pork at 500°F for the first 20 minutes.

  4. After 20 minutes, lower the heat to 250°F and cook for another 2 hours or so.

  5. The roast is done when the outside is nice and brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F as measured with an instant-read thermometer.

  6.  Rest pork roast for 15 minutes then slice

Finished!
