9 slices white sandwich bread
6 slices muenster or gouda cheese
6 slices oven-roasted turkey
6 slices baked ham
1/2 cup eggnog
pinch of  grated nutmeg
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting (optional)
Cranberry sauce, for serving

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

Mix  mustard,  mayonnaise.  Lay out 3 slices of bread, brush each with about 1 teaspoon of  mustard mixture. Top each piece of bread with 1 slice each of cheese, turkey, ham. Cover another slice of bread, brush with another teaspoon of  mustard mixture; top each sandwich with another slice each of cheese, turkey,  ham.

The Additional Directions To Follow:

Put some more of the mustard on the last three slices. Then put the mustard facing downward and put these slices onto the top of each sandwich.  remaining 3 bread slices with mustard mixture, place mustard-side down on top of sandwiches. Cut off the crust and wrap each one of your sandwiches in plastic. Place in the fridge and allow to chill for a half hour to as long as six hours. Mix your eggnog and nutmeg together. Carefully take each sandwich out of its wrapping and place the sandwiches quickly into your eggnog so each side gets coated. Allow half of your butter to melt in your skillet placed over medium heat. Place sandwiches in skillet and cook for about three minutes or until browned. Put on more butter, then flip each sandwich over and cook for a few additional minutes. Quarter each sandwich and sprinkle sugar on top then serve with your cranberry sauce on the side for dipping.
