We've always believed the secret to a truly amazing pie was the crust. Sure, the filling is the primary concern; after all, if it lacks flavor or texture, the whole pie will fall flat. However, you also need a sturdy and mouth watering crust to support and complement that indulgent filling. The flakier the better, in our opinion!
That's why we adore this super flaky pie crust. We have to warn you, it's kind of a long and complex process, so this certainly isn't something you can when you discover you have guests coming over in a couple of hours. You'll need to plan in advance and give the process some time, but if you do you'll realize it's definitely worth the extra time and effort!
