When Was The Last Time You Made A Luscious Banana Cake With A Rich Cream Cheese Frosting?

If you're looking for a delicious and moist banana cake, don't look any further because we have the perfect cake for you! This cake is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser and we're pretty sure that once you've made it and tasted it, you won't want to make banana cake any other way.

This cake is baked at a very low temperature, 275 degrees, which is unusual for baked goods. The second unusual thing about this cake is that, as soon as it comes out of the oven, it goes into the freezing for cooling. Doing so is the secret to the cake's moistness, so you need to use a baking pan that can withstand the change in temperature from oven to freezer without shattering into a million pieces.

We like to use a Pirex baking dish, but you can use any dish you prefer. We've never seen any other recipes that are done the way this cake is, but it works so well we feel mighty tempted to try making other cakes using this same crazy method.
