Love them or hate them, potlucks are a staple in many of our lives. Whether it's the annual company holiday party or the family reunion, I think it's safe to say potlucks are here to stay!
While I can only speak for myself, I love potlucks. Anytime I have the chance to enjoy a delicious spread of tasty treats I must say, I get a little excited. I always find the wide array of selections to be fascinating, almost like an impromptu buffet.
I generally can be found coming back for seconds or thirds…
The only draw back to a potluck lies in what dish your going to contribute. If you are anything like me, you want to keep your fellow potluckers impressed and begging you for the secret recipe! Well my friends, I am going to show you how to do exactly that and even give you enough ideas you'll have a slew of potluck ideas for years to come!

Who’d hate a pot luck?
My husband refuses to eat potlucks! Afraid of filthiness. Lol!

Hate them!
I’m with your husband on this one.
My kids are 41,39, and 36 and always asked “Mom who made this” to this day they will not eat if they dont know who and what they are like !
I like pot lucks because I live by myself and enjoy cooking.
True story: I don’t eat them – Years ago our Church had potlucks very often – I had a cleaning business of single Moms and specialized in Military houses- One of my church friends “BIG INTO bringing Food” asked for us to clean her home for their leaving Base- Me and my asst came to check the house out after they left!!! OMG !! FILTH doesn’t begin to cover it – ROACHES actually were crawling everywhere – over our feet on the walls in drawers AND IN THE STOVE even behind the oven CLOCK — I never let my 3 sons EVER eat potlucks again – they ate only what I and their grandmothers had made!!
A pot luck is what I want at my funeral! Let everyone eat baked beans, taco salad, scalloped potatoes, pies, cakes, cookies, sweedish meatballs and all those yummy things at potlucks! Beer and wine would a plus!
Hopefully that is an exception and seldom happens
Potluck dinners, really? Absolutely not!!

I like potlucks but only people I know!!!
Don’t like any of these recipes. Good old home cooking is what I bring to our church dinners. None of this stuff.
Yes
Amen
The older I get the more pickeyer I am about food. Not a big fan anymore for potlucks. People are not clean and two many hands touching what’s going in to my mouth, not good.
This wouldn’t have been possible when we were in the service!! We all got the “white glove ” inspection (literally)!!!!!!
Wow, judgemental much?
Ultra hygenic can also make you ill.
Wow. Purell did a number on people. The more you are exposed the stronger your immune system gets.
To each it’s own.
