A Classic Candy Bar Gets An Upgrade And Is Turned Into An Amazing Dessert!

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

Place  finely chopped chocolate in  heatproof bowl. Place  heavy cream in  saucepan over medium heat,bring to  simmer. Pour  hot cream over chocolate, let sit for 1 – 2 minutes,  whisk gently until tchocolate is completely melted, mixture is smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a separate container ,whisk in  salt. Cover, refrigerate at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Using an electric mixer, cream together  butter, sugar, salt on medium speed for 2 – 3 minutes, or until pale, light. Scrape  sides, bottom of bowl, add  flour,  mix on low speed for 30 seconds, or until the mixture looks like wet sand. Add  egg yolk, mix on low speed for another 30 seconds.
Gather  dough together, press into a disk,  wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Remove dough from  refrigerator, let soften at room temperature for 30 minutes. Bang, flatten  dough into a dish about ½-inch thick. Flour the work surface,  sprinkle  dough with flour. Roll out  dough into a 12-inch circle.
Roll  dough circle around rolling pin,  unroll it on top of a 10-inch tart pan. Press  dough well into  bottom, sides of pan,  use any scraps to patch up tears or missing bits. Make sure  entire interior is well covered with dough, press one last time all the way around to ensure any holes have been patched. Trim the edge of  dough so it is even with the rim of the pan. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Bake directly from the refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake  30 – 35 minutes. Place on  wire rack, cool to room temperature, the unmold  tart from the ring.
Using a stand or handheld mixer with a whisk attachment, whip  chocolate-cream mixture on medium-high speed until it holds firm peaks.

The Additional Directions To Follow:

Next, add your caramel sauce to the bottom of your tart and then add your whipped chocolate on top of the caramel. Add some caramel sauce over top of the whole tart and garnish with some chocolate curls if you wish. Put the tart in the fridge for about a half an hour before you serve it. It should be enjoyed within twenty-four after putting the entire tart together.
