We were worried this story was just a rumor, but website Thrillist has cold hard evidence that Girl Scouts cookie cereal is indeed coming to grocery store shelves very, very soon. Not soon enough, as far as we're concerned!
Here's what we know so far: the sweets-crazed Instagram account Candy Hunting found two stock images of the cereal. We reached out to General Mills for comment about the cereals, and the company confirmed that both will be available nationwide in January. Hurrah!
We Love Our Thin Mints!
We're really excited about this, because the General Mills Girl Scouts cookie cereal is due to hit shelves before Girl Scout cookie season starts. This means we won't have to wait for our Thin Mint fix.
