Just as we said previously the process for making these muffins could not be simpler. In fact, getting all the ingredients together in one place is the most difficult part! Once you have done that you are well on your way to enjoying this delicious savory muffin. Let's grab our mixing bowl and muffin tin and look at what we need to do in order to go from ingredients to deliciousness.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Prepare muffin tin with non-cook spray and press biscuit dough into muffin tin.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon, beef, and onion; heat to medium-high heat. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until beef is brown. Drain.
- Divide beef mixture evenly among muffin cups and top each with 1 teaspoon ketchup.
- Top each one with cheese.
- Bake 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Once they are done, remove them from the tin and serve immediately. I have discovered that this dish is perfect for those weeknights when you are in a hurry after work to get dinner and get the kids to whichever sporting event or dance class they have chosen to be involved in this year. I will warn you though you might want to bring some napkins!
