When we need a hearty appetizer for movie night with friends or to take to a housewarming party or potluck dinner, we usually turn to these savory ham and cheese party rolls. They look pretty fancy, but they're actually easy to make, plus, they can be assembled ahead of time and then cooked when they're needed. That's why we like them for when we have a big event; we can put everything together the night before and save time the next day.

They're also great for breakfast, so we like to make up batch over the weekend so we have a quick and easy breakfast for the busy week ahead. These ham and cheese party rolls are no ordinary breakfast food, however.

The dough is rolled up like a cinnamon roll, but these party rolls are super savory instead of sweet. They do, however, have a slightly sweet brown sugar glaze that's a nice complement to the ham, cheese, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard.
