Better Than Chinese Takeout: This Pepper Mongolian Steak Is Our Favorite Thing To Make In Our Crock Pot

Here's everything for this tantalizing pepper steak with rice. This calls for one beef bullion cube, but a beef seasoning packet from a package of ramen noodles works just as well.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

-2lbs beef sirloin, cut into strips
-Garlic powder
-Vegetable oil
-1 beef bullion cube (I didn't have any, so I used a beef packet from a pack of Ramen noodles!)
-1/4 cup hot water
-1 small onion, chopped
-2 large bell peppers, chopped
-3 Tbs. soy sauce
-1 tsp. sugar
-1 tsp. salt

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by sprinkling the garlic powder on the meat and then browning in a skillet using oil and then place the browned meat in the crockpot. Next, combine the hot water and the beef bullion cube and stir until the mixture dissolves, then pour over the meat in the crockpot.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the bell peppers to the crockpot and then stir and cook for between 4 and 6 hours on low or between 2 and 3 hours on high.
  3. Add the bell peppers during the last hour or two of cooking and then serve with rice.

Finished!

This sounds like one savory and hearty dish and we can't believe how simple it is to make. This pepper steak tastes so good and is so easy to make we may never order takeout again.

Happy Crocking & Enjoy!
