Blue Ribbon Worthy White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Blue Ribbon Worthy White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Give us anything with milk or dark chocolate chips and we will bow down at your feet! Having said that, we are a little leery of white chocolate. It’s nice but kind of unnatural, isn't it? Is chocolate supposed to be white? Did some alien come from outer space and create white chocolate?

But then … we tried these White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies but every fear we had about the white in chocolate was tossed out the window!

OMG, these are so incredibly good!  And the macadamia nuts giving it that little crunch to go with the smooth white chocolate … Seriously incredible!

Ingredients To Gather

  • 3 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup coarsely chopped roasted salted macadamia nuts

The Step-By-Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Sift first 3 ingredients into medium bowl. Using electric mixer, beat butter in large bowl.
  3. Add both sugars and beat until blended.
  4. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then vanilla.
  5. Add dry ingredients and beat just until blended. Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts.

~*~ Helpful Hint ~*~

If you are making large cookies make sure to space them out. This recipe batter is just the right consistency for making small ones or big ones.

Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes depending if you like them softer or more crunchier. The max time you can put your cookies in the oven without them burning are 25 minutes.

If you are looking for a medium time then we suggest: Twenty minutes.

Enjoy and say … Yum!
