Bread Made From TWO Ingredients & One of Them is ICE CREAM

Ingredients

  • 1 pint (2 cups) ice cream, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour

Directions

  • Stir together ice cream and flour, stirring just until flour is moistened. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 8- x 4-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of bread comes out clean. Remove from pan, and cool on a wire rack.

Note: Batter may also be divided evenly between 2 greased and floured 5- x 3-inch loaf pans. 

Yup, that's it! It is so super simple and delicious that it almost seems too easy. I gave found that this is a great project to do with kids and let's face it we reap the benefits of it as well.

The best part is all of the flavors you can try. The sky is the limit when it comes to your favorite ice cream flavor. I will say this however,  I have been told that the full-fat ice cream is the one you will want as the fat helps it not only hold together but it tastes better as well.
