Have you ever been sitting around wondering what to have for dinner and you just can't seem to ever agree on a place or dish that suits everyone? This is often the case with our family on the weekends. That's the time when schedules are relaxed, the game is on or we are hauling everyone off to their desired destinations. It happens around lunch or dinner time. Without fail someone says “I'm hungry” and the proceeds the “what do you want to eat” followed quickly with the “I don't care what do you want” which is often followed up with a suggestion to which one of us makes a face as the other one says “I thought you didn't care.”
It can be mind-numbingly tedious.
Thankfully there is one dish that we both love, we can both eat at least once a week and one that takes little money or effort…Buffalo Cheese Fries!
There is just something about fries, in general, that could make me eat them multiple times a week but these buffalo fries take it to another level! Here is what you will need to make this delicious creation.
Ingredients
- 1½ bags frozen french fries (crinkle cut or steak)
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (or canola oil would work)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
- ground pepper to taste
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons butter
- 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
Now that we have all of our ingredients let's look at how to put it all together.
