2 cups self-rising flour
2 teaspoons coarsely ground black Tellicherry peppercorns
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons unbleached flour, for forming biscuits

Heat oven to 450°F. Grease 9-inch cast-iron skillet.
Mix tbutter into self-rising flour until it feels crumbly. Sprinkle pepper over flour mixture. Add buttermilk, mix with fork until shaggy dough is formed. Dust work surface with all-purpose flour. Turn out dough , knead very briefly.
The Additional Directions To Follow:
Then, take your dough and pat or form dough until is about a half of an inch thick. Use your three-inch cutter and cut your dough until you have about eight biscuits. Put your biscuits into your skillet so that the side of each biscuit is touching the other ones. Allow them to bake for approximately twelve minutes or so. Take them out of your oven and then put some of the melted butter on the top of each one. Then add some salt over top of the butter.
