Check Out The Secret Ingredient That You Should Have Been Adding To Your Pasta Sauce All These Years

I Would Have Never Of Thought To Add This To My Pasta Sauce… But I am sure Glad I Did ~ Damn What A Difference!

Can You Believe How Easy This Pasta Sauce Was To Make. And All Of The Ingredients Were Super Fresh!

I admit, I usually purchase a jar of pasta sauce whenever I am making something that calls for pasta sauce. And usually, I try and doctor it up to hide the taste that's always lingering in a preservative packed jar. I can't quite explain that flavor, but somehow everyone can always identify when it's store bought. Then I cam across this recipe and I was blown away by how easy pasta sauce can be to make, with the right ingredients. After making this sauce, you seriously will never want to buy sauce in a jar again. Half the time is spent trying to hide that fact anyways. Instead, redirect your efforts from the very beginning and be delighted with your finished product.

There is nothing crazy that you need to know to execute this recipe. The skills needed a pretty basic. So what are you waiting you?! Who knows, you might even be inspired to start making pasta from scratch. But hey, one step at a time right?

A teaspoon of baking soda per gallon of sauce will cut the acid, sugar only sweetens it.

I have never used store bought. I have used the same recipe since I was 16 years old. I got it from Larry Little when he ran the Georgetown Cafe.

Always make my own spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. My grandmother and mother taught me to add a pinch of sugar to any recipe with tomatoes to cut the acid taste. A small amount does’t make the sauce sweet.
