Mash potatoes are a staple in my household and not just for holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas. They are easy to make and a great compliment to almost any meal. For a couple dollars you can whip up a batch of mashers for fit for an army (or in my case, a couple starving kiddos).
Another great thing about mashed potatoes is that you don't have to be a five star chef to make them and make them good. I mean heck, as long as you can boil a pot of water you can make them. Yet, the more creative you get, the better.
Adding cheese and other tasty ingredients is a no brainer.
I have always been a huge fan of mashed potatoes. You might even say I am somewhat obsessed with them. So naturally, I am constantly creating new and fun ways to make this creamy delight, however after finding this recipe I'm sure we will be eating cheesy twice baked mash potato casserole at least once a week!
