Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

Casseroles shouldn't be complicated – that is why I enjoy cooking this recipe all of the time. My friends and family really enjoy how the flavors compliment one another and how there is that crunch factor when you savor bite-after-bite.

Most of the time when people cook casseroles they are just throwing everything in a dish and topping it off with cheese; this recipe is quite the opposite! As a matter of fact, you really do not need a lot of cheese for this scrumptious recipe. Whatever way you enjoy this it will come out simply amazing!

~*~ Please make sure to thoroughly follow the Step-By-Step Instructions ~*~

Step By Step Instructions:

1. Lightly spray a 11×7-inch dish.

2. Mix together the chicken, cream cheese, minced onion, garlic powder and mozzarella. Set aside.

3. In another bowl, mix the soup with the milk, stirring the milk in gradually.

4. Separate the crescent dough into the 8 triangles. Place about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture on the wide base of the crescent “triangle.” Roll up and seal completely–you roll these like you are making rolls, but also pinch the sides together so the filling is completely enclosed by the crescent dough.

5. Place chicken-filled crescents in the pan making 2 rows with 4 crescents in each row–leave space on all sides for the sauce.

6. Pour sauce around the crescents, avoiding covering the dough with the sauce.

7. Sprinkle crescent tops with the grated cheese.

8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tops are nicely browned.

From Fork To Mouth!

This dish will yield about five servings, however, those are pretty big portions. You are allowed to use a different substitute for the soup. I used Cream of Chicken but you can use Cream of Spinach, Mushroom or whatever you prefer.

In order for the dough not to stick onto your hands use a little flour coating on your fingers. This should help from it getting all over the places and making a mess.

If you have made this before let us know how it turned out!
