Chicken Florentine… This Dish Never Disappoints Us!

Chicken Florentine… This Dish Never Disappoints Us!

With a dish like this, very rarely does anyone say, “You know what, I'm good on the seconds.” As a matter of fact, this is a dish eaten until bellies pop. It's also one pieced on throughout the day — even when cooking something else completely different.

What you will need:

  • 1 (15-ounce) jar prepared alfredo sauce

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes

  • 8 ounces dried spaghettibroken in half

  • 2 cups chicken breastcooked and shredded

  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach

  • Roma tomatoesdiced

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • Grated Parmesan cheesefor serving

How to bake your florentine just using one pan:

  1. Place broken spaghetti into alfredo sauce, chicken broth and red pepper flakes. Stir this well.
  2. Bring 3-qurt pan of ingredients to a boil, reducing heat to a medium low and allowing to cook for approximately 11-15 minutes before removing from heat.
  3. Stir in chicken breast, cooked and shredded, into the pan. Include spinach, tomatoes and lemon juice. Be sure to mix well.
  4. Serve this with grated parmesan cheese for the ultimate experience.

Keep in mind, this dish is made by the pan. It actually may be a great idea for the family on a budget to incorporate this recipe into their monthly menu. Variations of this dish are extremely suggested in this case. Freeze the left overs into large containers for family meals, or store it in smaller containers for on-the-go lunches. Always take a little bit extra if you are going outdoors with it. Everyone always seems to want a bite!

Brittani Morton, this looks good and it is super easy, I am going to try it… someday. the recipe says spaghetti noodles but I would use the penne as it is shown in the photo, so ignore that one part and use penne instead.
