Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala

This amazing slow cooker Chicken Marsala makes enough for eight servings but you can always double the ingredients if you want plenty of leftovers. If you don't have Marsala wine you can just use chicken broth instead.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 jars mushrooms
  • 1 cup sweet Marsala wine
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons parsley

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. In cooker, place garlic, oil.
  2. Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper; place in cooker.
  3. Place mushrooms over chicken; pour wine over.
  4. Cover; cook on Low 5 – 6 hours. Remove chicken, mix water, cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Stir into liquid in cooker. Increase to High. Cover, cook 10 minutes.

Additional Note:

  • Pour mushroom mixture on the chicken, add some chopped parsley.
