Copy Cat Recipe: How To Make Your Favorite Applebee’s Potstickers

If you love potstickers as much as we do, then you'll love this recipe. These delicious pockets are loaded with meat and veg and are hearty enough to eat alone, or you can serve them as a snack or appetizer.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 lb Baby Bok Choy,steamed or boiled in the microwave then chop into fine pieces
  • 1.28 pls ground pork
  • 2 stems green onion,chopped
  • 1 inch fresh ginger,grind or finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pack of round Wonton Wrapper
  • Canola oil for frying and 1/4 cup of water for each batch

How To Prepare:

  1. Prepare and clean the Baby Bok Choy by removing its roots and washing thoroughly. You can put it in a steamer and steam until soft; or,you can boil it in the microwave until soft. When the Bok Choy is ready and cooled down, chop and put into a medium size bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until ingredients are completely combined. You can freeze this if you are not ready to make the Pot Stickers.

  2. Put the round Wonton wrappers on a flat surface and scoop 1 teaspoon of the filling. Dip your index finger with water and rub the edges with the water. Seal the edges and make a little bit of pleats.

  3. TO COOK THE POTSTICKERS:

  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in the pan and fry 5- 6 Pot Stickers for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and then add in 1/4 cup of water.Cover the pan and let the water evaporate. Remove Pot Stickers from the pan and put onto paper tower lined plate.Do the same to the rest of the Pot Stickers.

 

Finished!

Don't worry about there being enough to go around, this recipe yields about 35 potstickers.
