This Cajun Blackened Catfish Is So Flavorful, We Couldn’t Believe It Didn’t Come Straight From Down South!

This recipe makes enough for about four servings but if you want more, you can always double the ingredients. It takes about ten minutes to prepare and between thirty to thirty-five minutes to bake. It will smell so good, you'll want to dig right in!

The Ingredients To Gather:

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons lemon pepper

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons pepper

1 pound catfish fillets

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup Italian-style salad dressing

 

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Lightly grease dish.
Mix cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
Brush both sides of catfish with butter. Rub fillets with cayenne pepper mixture on both sides.
Heat skillet over medium-high heat until really hot.

The Additional Directions To Follow:

Place your catfish in your skillet and allow to fry for about two minutes or so per side. Place your catfish fillets in one layer in your dish and drizzle with Italian-style salad dressing. Allow to bake for about thirty-five minutes or until flaky and tender.
