Crock Pot Creation: This Delicious Boston Pulled Pork Recipe Will Have You Begging For Seconds

After making this recipe you might even consider owning a pig pen, because you seriously won't be able to make this dish fast enough. Just one bite and this meal will be in high demand. You might want to consider making an extra batch. Don't say we didn't warn you!

What You Will Need:

  • 1 eight pound Boston Butt Pork Roast

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon seas salt

  • 1 tablespoon ground red pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon liquid apple wood smoke

How To Prepare:

  1. Place all the dry rub ingredients into a zip lock bag.
  2. Mix together well by massaging the ingredients together.
  3. Rub over all surfaces of the pork roast.
  4. Place roast into a 6 quart crock pot.
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours. Then high for 4 hours.
  6. Carefully remove the roast from the crock pot to a large cookie sheet.
  7. Brown under the broiler for 10-15 minutes turning to brown all sides.
  8. Pull the fall apart tender pork apart.

Note: You'll feel like Miss. Piggy when eating this roast … in a non cannibal like way, but more in the insatiable appetite kind of way. Which is why we suggest making two batches on this deliciousness. One for now and one for the next day.
