French Toast Loaf From The Disneyland Main Street Bakery

There is a lot of steps to make this dish but if you make it the night before you will definitely have something delicious for breakfast.

The Ingredients To Purchase:

12 slices of white bread
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 1/3 cups light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
4 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

The Directions To Follow:

 

Step One

Set 12 slices of bread on a plate or tray.

Step Two

Slice each butter stick into 15 thin slices.

Step Three
Mix light brown sugar with ground cinnamon.

Step Four
Place 3 slices of the bread on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle 1/3 of the brown sugar mixture over them.

Step Five
Spread 10 pats of the butter on top of the brown sugar.

Step Six
Layer another 3 slices of bread on top of the butter. Repeat with brown sugar and butter.

Step Seven
Repeat with another layer of 3 slices of bread, the remainder of the brown sugar and butter.

Step Eight
Finish off with the last 3 slices of bread.

Step Nine
Whisk 4 large eggs in a bowl.

Step Ten
Add the heavy cream.

Step Eleven
Stir in the vanilla and cinnamon.
Step Twelve
Pour batter over the loaf.

Step Thirteen
Cover the loaf pan. Place in the fridge to chill overnight.

 

The Next Day Follow These Directions

 

Step One
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step Two
Place pan in oven and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.

Step Three
After 1 hour bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes at 325 degrees.

 

This is exactly how they make it at The Main Street bakery at Disneyland

 

If you ever had french toast then you will want to try and make this! Instead of your slices being thin you can have them thick, juicy and full of flavor. As soon as I am going to serve this dish I always sprinkle some powdered sugar on top and serve it with a side of Organic Maple Syrup.
