Fried Chicken in 4 Easy Steps!

Fried Chicken in 4 Easy Steps!

I'm sure we all remember the smells and tastes of Grandmas kitchen. If you are anything like me, chances are you have spent countless hours in the kitchen trying to recreate those amazing meals you so enjoyed as child. One my all time favorites was and always will be Grandmas Fried Chicken. Coming from the south, fried chicken was a staple for our many weekend family gatherings at Grandmas house.

After failing to to successfully fry up some succulent chicken of my own, I started searching for an easy recipe, that would still satisfy my picky taste buds with that delicious taste of yesteryear… Now keep in mind, I can grab a bucket of fried goodness from the local KFC whenever my heart desires, but it's just not the same.

Lucky for us, I found the answer to our fried chicken blues with the easy to follow recipe! Trust me, you'll be enjoying some crispy fried drums in no time at all!

After you’re done battering the chicken, you should place it on a cookie sheet to let the batter set up for about 15 min…otherwise the batter will fall off if it’s too wet when it goes in the oil…also, I use a cast iron skillet; it makes the best chicken fried chicken!!
