Were it not for the keen eye of food website writer (and perhaps the carelessness of a Burger King employee), the world at large might never have known about the burger chain's secret strategy for cooking perfect chicken. A worker just happened to leave out the restaurant's color chart, which shows a picture of chicken nuggets of varying colors along with the words “Don't Use” and “OK.”
As you can see, the chart clearly answers the question “should I use this chicken?,” letting the chart-user cook perfectly crisp, but not burnt, chicken nuggets, strips, and patties.
We thought it was a little scary at first that Burger King didn't trust its employees not to serve food that was either undercooked or burnt, but on second thought we're all for anything that makes food safer for customers!
