Yummy
Recipe didn’t say what you do with veg.shortening or crisco butter shortening
U can learn how to do this
step by step instructions do not say what to do with the shortening
You need to update the instructions! After step one which is combining the dry ingredients together, step two should be to cut in both shortenings (using a pastry cutter or two butter knives) until all is incoporated and in small pea-sized chunks. Step three is add the buttermilk, stir only until a soft dough forms – do not over mix!
Add butter and Kallas honey and it’s pure heaven.

when do you add the shortening?
My question also
You put the shortening in with the flour salt and baking soda and then you mix it up but I use 2 tablespoons butter to 2 cups of flour a teaspoon of baking soda half a teaspoon of salt and use one cup of milk mix it up and if it’s running at a little bit more flour to it roll it out and there you go
Will try.
