Have You Ever Had A Salad With Slow Cooked Chicken Before? If Not, You’re Missing Out.

Want to make a salad an entire meal? Try this BBQ Chicken Taco Salad for the best tastes North of the Border!

Ingredients Needed:

For The Chicken:
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste
For The Salads:
  • Chopped Romaine
  • Tomatoes
  • Black Beans
  • Avocado
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Black Olives
  • Cilantro
  • Ranch Dressing
 How To Prepare:
  1. Season chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour over chicken, cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours. Shred chicken and continue to cook an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Assemble salads as desired or use chicken in sandwiches or as a main dish.

Double up on the BBQ chicken and have plenty to use in other dishes the next day or freeze it and have it ready to go next time you are craving this salad.
