
When I was a kid I always had hot chocolate during the holidays or when I went to my grandmas.
Hot Chocolate brings back memories of warming up when I would awake in the mornings, or come in from playing outside.
Nowadays, sipping it brings back those warm memories and smiling moments of laughter with family. I decided to make Hot chocolate on Valentines a family tradition.
With this delicious hot chocolate recipe and lots of good memories to come, it is bound to melt everyone's hearts. Try this warm heartfelt Hot Chocolate!
Serving: 1
Ingredients
- 4 marshmallows
- 1 cup milk (your choice)
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 3 teaspoons Strawberry Syrup (Any brand will work)
- 3 drops red food coloring
Instructions:
Step #1: Cut the marshmallows in half crosswise. Place into a bowl and set aside.
Step #2. Pour the milk into a small boiling pan, and cook over medium heat until a rolling boil.
Step #3: Reduce heat, pour in the white chocolate chips and stir constantly until melted.
Step #4: Whisk in the chocolate chops and continue whisking until all chocolates have melted.
Step #5: Stir in the strawberry syrup and let boil for about 1 minute. Pour in the food coloring and whisk until completely mixed.
Step #6: Place marshmallows into the cup, and pour the hot chocolate over the marshmallows.
Step #7: Serve with a love note. (I always do this to show I put a little extra effort to show them I love them!).
