If You Like Orange Chicken Then This Spicy Version With Orange & Basil Will Be Your New All-Time Favorite!

Yes, this recipe does feed four, but don't be afraid to double or triple the ingredients to share this mouth watering delight with as many people as you'd like.

Let's Get Started… 

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ fresno chili
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
  • kosher salt
  • 2 cups green beans, cut into thirds
  • ½ cup fresh thai basil leaves
  • steamed white rice

Directions To Follow:

  1. To make the sauce: Combine the garlic, chili, ginger, rice wine vinegar, honey and orange juice. Puree on high and season to taste with kosher salt.
  2. In a skillet. Add the vegetable oil and then the chicken. Sprinkle salt and stir well. Cook for one minute and then add the green beans, sautéing for another minute. Add the sauce and cook until the sauce has thickened.
  3. Serve the chicken, beans and sauce hot over steamed white rice garnished with thai basil.
