The best part about this recipe is that you can use the gravy to pour over some potatoes or vegetables or use it as a dip if you want to use the Steak Tips in a sandwich.

Looks very delicious.
Is that Oxtail
that picture cannot go with the recipe given ! That is steak and has grill marks on it
Sounds extremely salty
Thank you. I said the same thing and it is not covered in mushroom soup.
That’s what I thought. It’s a bad attempt at stroganoff.
Desn’t this look delicious.
Maybe the steaks were seared on the grill before cooking.
Diane look at the recipe the beef is to be cut into cubes and no grilled onions on the top that is not sirloin in the picture either , plus kinda looks like burgundy wine sauce , not a cream of mushroom sauce. Picture definitely does not match ingredients
And this today Steve Goecke
Jillian Alana
plan to try this soon,
Photo isn’t steak tips.
Looks delish!
The photo they show isn’t the recipe they provide, but the recipe looks good, too.
You can always reduce the salt.
we could always cut it up…lol,,,,still looks yummy

Whatever is in the picture, I want it now
Very salty
That is not cubed meat. In our family it’s always been Beef Burgundy, swapping out the broth for red wine. My mom started making it in the seventies. The sodium count is very high. I make my own cream soup and onion soup mix so the whole family can enjoy a low sodium, delicious meal.
Your recipe sounds great. Would love the recipe
Happy Holidays.
old fashioned “braising”..makes delicious pork chops too!!
Delicious
Does this mean you could do whole steaks this way too?
Look at the chemicals in the beef broth, dry onion soup and canned mushroom soup. No thanks.
If those are steak tips, I’d like to see the damn cow they came off of!! 🙂

Pic of grilled fillet and onions..not beef tips
Looks so good.
Use low sodium broth and mushroom soup and don’t salt to taste and the salt issue us addressed.
Pete Wood…you must love to cook…?
Incredibly old recipe using too processed food ingredients and that picture is nothing like the result!
This will be good for lunch today.

yum
recipe and photo don’t match
It does look good.
Totally misleading picture. Brown cubed steak and add to crockpot? It’d be tough going in. This looks like thick NY steaks and there’s only onion powder, not onions in the recipe. Really?
Sue Weidman
this does not look like a sirloin steak nor does it match the recipe what it should look like
What time is dinner?
Looks like pork chops…still yummy
Looks like steak & onions ? Did I miss something?

My mom used same recipe years ago but instead of a crock pot she put all the ingredients wrapped in foil in a roasting pan and cooked in the oven. I strain the onion soup mix and only use the onions and a little of the mix. Makes for a less salty flavor.
Read comments you be the judge. I’d like to hear Judge Judy’s comment on this one lol.
Have made this. Family complains too salty
