Looking For That Perfect Casserole To Make For The Upcoming Holidays? This Spinach Kugel  Is Perfect

This Kugel makes enough for about eight servings but you can always double the ingredients to make more. It takes about thirty minutes to prepare and another forty minutes to bake.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter plus 2 teaspoons
  • 1  onion
  • 1  package chopped frozen spinach
  • 4 eggs
  • 1  container farmer cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded Greyere
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbs seasoned bread crumbs
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Salt
  • Pepper

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.

2 Put up  pot of water to boil.  Add in salt, noodles. Cook until al dente,  set aside.

3 Chop  onion. Melt two tablespoons of butter in pan, add  onion. Cook until slightly browned, set aside.

4 Microwave  f spinach using the direction on the back of box. Let it cool for a few minutes before wring out  water in paper towels.

5 Beat  eggs together with 1 teaspoon of salt,  1/2 teaspoon of pepper.

6 To  eggs, mix in  farmers cheese, Gruyere, milk, onions, spinach, combine,  add noodles,d stir until  coated.

7 Pour  mixture into dish. Be sure to spray with non-stick cooking spray.

8  Melt 2 teaspoon of butter in  microwave. Add  breadcrumbs,  stir until a sand-like mixture is formed. Evenly distribute  bread crumb mixture on top.

9 Bake 40 minutes.
