Make Your Own Balsamic Glaze: You Only Need One Ingredient To Make As Much As You Want!

This recipe allows you to make as much balsamic glaze as you want. It is important though that you use double the amount that you want to end up with it because it will reduce in the pan. You want to make sure you have plenty of this glaze because goes perfect with just about everything.

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • For a ½ cup of glaze: 1 cup balsamic vinegar

The Step by Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Using a round bottomed sauce pan or skillet, because the vinegar won’t get stuck in the corners and burn. Bring the vinegar to a VERY light simmer, make sure it’s steaming and gorgeous. Constantly stir the vinegar until it begins to reduce.
  2. You can tell when it’s done by keeping your eye on the edges of the pan. The stickier and more “glazy” the vinegar gets, it will start to stick to the sides of the pan a little more. The more syrupy it is, the closer it is to done!
  3. When your vinegar is nice an syrupy, it’s done!! Remove it from the heat and let it cool.

Finished!

This balsamic glaze is so easy and inexpensive to make that you may not be able to stop adding it to your food! Have you tried this balsamic glaze yet?
