The Ingredients To Gather:
- 1.5 cup flour
- 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
3. Mix butter, sugar. Add egg, red food coloring, mix. Mix dry ingredients.
4. Shape dough into balls,place dough on parchment paper. Flatten.
5. Bake 8 minutes. Cool.
6. Mix powdered sugar, vegetable oil, butter, water, vanilla extract.
7. Place filling in pastry bag. Turn half of cookies, spread filling. Place remaining cookies on top of frosted cookies.
