Making A Fresh Loaf Of Homemade Bread? Next Time Add Less Of This Common Ingredient

Here's Leonti's proportions for perfect homemade bread every time. He's the expert, so if he recommends it it must work!

Check This Out…

Leonti's template for bread uses the following proportions: 1000 grams flour, 800 grams water, 30 grams bakers yeast, and 30 grams salt. “It's going to feel really wet,” he explains, but that's what you want. “The higher the water content, the bigger the holes.”

He also says that one of the biggest mistakes people make is using too much flour on their work surface:

“You want to take the flour and make it snow,” he says.

We're a little embarrassed to admit that we've been using flour all wrong when making bread and we never even realized it! After reading this, however, we definitely won't make that mistake again, and we can't wait to see how our bread turns out now.
