These are super fun to make and I even got my older kids involved. They loved it! Granted if you have a batch of starving teenagers I would suggest making a bunch of these because they will go fast. The best part is they are super simple to make and give us a new spin on an old classic.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Arrange tart shells on a baking sheet, then bake until starting to turn golden brown, about 7 minutes.
- While shells are in the oven, heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Saute onion until it starts to soften, then add in garlic, stirring and cooking another minute. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about another 5-7 minutes, then stir in the salt, Worcestershire, pickles, ketchup, and mustard, then remove from heat.
- Scoop beef mixture into baked tart shells then sprinkles on crumbled bacon and top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake 5-10 minutes in the oven, or until the cheese has melted.
