Do you put it in the oven at 400 for an hour or turn the oven off and let it sit for an hour?
Keep oven on for an hour.
Do u think u could format your website for use on a phone already?
400 degrees is to high, the oil will burn imparting nasty flavors to the pan.
300 hundred for 25 minutes is plenty and don’t use olive oil.
I use salt and paper towel to clean, I only reseason pan if things are starting to stick

The Ingredients To Gather:
Coarse salt
Oil
A potato
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sprinkle generous amount of salt into skillet.
Cut potato in half.
Place spud, flat side down, onto pan, scrub, vigorously, in circular motion.
Rinse with water, pat dry.
To season, pour small amount of oil into skillet, spread evenly with paper towel.
Place skillet in oven one hour.
Remove from oven, wipe off excess oil.
Finished!
